1.      Google Docs – this tool is for when you can upload files and choose who can access it and share. This can be helpful in class by if I have an online assignment where I assign groups to do a project each one will have a Google account and upload their own documents so I can see who’s all been doing their job.

2.      Team Viewer – is a tool for students to who want to have connection to their PC without using a mouse you can control your PC with your phone. This is a tool that I am familiar with I have this app program in my phone and I love it this is a great collaboration tool for the students that is in technology.

3.      Animato – This tool is basically known as video uploading and editing. This software is really similar to the software off a mac computer and has the same base features for it. This you can use to edit videos music etc. For me this can be used if I want to make a highlight film for my athletes.

4.      JayCut – This software is a similar to google drive this is where students can upload images and photos to where if I have them to do an assignment I know they just won’t have random pictures the students will have to post them on a daily basis.

Pinterest the Software

Pinterest

Pinterest is a good website that you can use for great ideas such as projects or learning different things. The account is free and you can sign up or log in either via Facebook, Google + or twitter. I have been having my account for over a week now and it has been a great experience using a new website. They have all types of categories from your choosing to where you can look up what is interesting to you. My project that I used was Nutrition and what I done was search on my common core standard and then I search on Google and Pinterest to find a total of 20 pins to add to my account that I created based on what I want to teach. Here is a photo of my pins that I had search and used. Pintrest is a great project based boardhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Qv2nB6IYQ0c2dfWWxXLTJJSzg/edit?usp=sharing

My pins on my account

This is my template I started for my project for my students to use. The programs my students use was Microsoft Publisher to find a nice template to start and create their poster for the assignment.
This is the start of my newsletter where I got it title Are We Eating Right and I define nutrition and what it means and I include some images to help show and bring more out to the newsletter instead of making it plan.

This is my other page of the project with the history of nutrition and more interesting facts that I added to the template.

Here is where I found most of my facts about Nutrition. This website gives the true history of Nutrition all the way from the 1700s and who discover different things such as Vitamin C, D ect.

With the project completed I took pictures of my work for proof and uploaded them to my Google drive so I won’t lose them and just in case I have to go back and fix anything else.

Overall this is the greatest website to use as a hand on project or research it is very helpful for students teachers anyone who wants to find out about anything. The account is easy to sign up and there is just about any subject you can find on pinterest and won’t be a disappointment I inform teachers now and future teachers to use this website more if they want their students to learn and go out and get the lesson as for the teacher helping them all the way.

About Me

Grettings, my name is Daven Burns I am from Ashdown AR, I am 19 years of age and I now attend Henderson State University where I am a sophomore in my major of physical education. I am the oldest on my mother side of my family I have one brother and one sister. My birthday is July 6th, 1994 and I will be turning 20 this year. I picked physical education for many reason. One reason is that, my life has been around sports since I was seven years of age around the time I was seven on to where I am now I have been in some type of sporting event so it is pretty self-explanatory why I choose this as my major. A second reason is I love helping others getting better that is what the teaching side of me comes in to play as for my younger siblings like my brother, cousins, or even friends that have watched me and have me to teach them some type of way to become successful in life. In high school, I was a mentor to some younger students so working with children is not a big deal for me. My hobbies consist of, working out, playing or exploring different technologies daily, going to school, and working. I like to consider myself a self-made guy and I created a blog based off of technology and physical education which I will be uploading and giving full reviews on different topics prior of my choices between, exercise and technology on a daily bases. I have a very strong passion for the game of football and basketball and I love seeing kids be successful I also love technology in many ways because I believe this is the future. I personally believe that this blog will be very great for people who want to find out more on technology and physical education so feel free to explore and stay fit and get active.
